Yamaguchi prefecture
The Asahi Shuzo brewery took a gamble when it restructured to focus solely on Junmai Daiginjo sake, but the gamble paid off and brought us this delightful sake. Thanks to them you can now try high quality sake at a reasonable price. Dassai 50 holds its own even against pricier Junmai Daiginjos. With engaging flavors and easy pair-ability its no wonder that this sake is popular in Japan and the U.S. The fragrance puts a smile on your face, but the flavor will have you beaming from ear to ear. (Dassai “50” has been discontinued in 2019 and “45” is now available)

Why not pair a delicate snack with delicate junmai daiginjo sake? For sake ware, we recommend glasses or cups that enhance the sake’s fruity aroma.
