Tamagawa “Tokubetsu Junmai” Heart of Oak is a signature junmai brewed by the British brewmaster Philip Harper — although it’s arguable how British he is now that he’s lived and brewed at this brewery for so long. You can expect a product that ages beautifully at room temperature (which he prefers), and depending on the age, some warm honey, blueberry and crushed walnut notes.
Actual vintage year may differ from product image shown.

Smoky snacks are exceptional companions for koshu (aged sake). For sake ware, we recommend vessels that help you savor the sake’s umami.
